The ELP Foundation has established two Vocational Training Centers in Agege and Mushin areas of Lagos State to give the people a vocation. These vocational classes also run evening schools to assist those preparing for SSCE and JAMB free of charge and bring literacy to older citizens through adult literacy classes. Training in these centers is free of charge to all students (vocational, exam preparatory and adult literacy classes).

The Foundation provides all that is required to achieve their vision. Trainees are admitted into these centers via a well–structured oral interview. The vocational training centers have qualified teachers who are professionals in their fields. The vocations being taught in these centers include:

  • Soap Production
  • Barbing
  • Hair dressing and Hair Weaving
  • Bead making & Hat Making
  • Computer Studies

SSCE and JAMB preparatory classes cover the Arts courses, Mathematics and English, while the adult literacy classes concentrate on teaching the older people to read and write the English language.
